About the Opportunity

Astra Guild, a Texas-based venture and strategy firm, is hiring on behalf of Helios Investments, a California-based alternative asset trading firm specializing in structured and proprietary trading.

This Market Operations & Trading Internship is part of a pilot initiative designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of alternative investments, trading strategy, and market operations. Interns will gain real-world experience in analyzing markets, executing supervised trades, and understanding portfolio management workflows.

Program Structure

Phase I – Training (2 Weeks)

• Structured onboarding and mentorship covering trading fundamentals
• Paid $250 training stipend upon successful completion

Phase II – Market Operations (Ongoing, Month-to-Month)

• Focused on the purchasing side only, operating with partner approvals during trading sessions
• Participate in 10–16 trading sessions per month (approx. 10–15 hours weekly)
• Base Pay: $100 per session
• Bonus: 5%–10% scaling percentage based on realized profit
• Trades executed using company capital, with little to no personal risk
• No licensing required; all trades are supervised and approved by Helios partners

Compensation

• $250 training stipend (Phase I)
• $100 per trading session (Phase II, 10–16 sessions per month)
• 5%–10% scaling bonus based on realized profit
• Paid monthly at the end of each month
